Financial Reporting Manager, South Gyle
Responsibilities
Prepare monthly Group consolidated accounts
Consolidate quarterly Group budgets and further develop financial budget model
Take ownership of year-end statutory accounts process
Take ownership of Group ESG reporting
Oversee Group tax submissions (UK and US)
Act as the 'go to' person for all technical accounting queries
Add further rigour and control by implementing process improvements and internal controls
Draft and document all accounting policies and procedures (e.g. transfer pricing, treasury, capitalisation of costs etc.)
Report into the Financial Controller and provide support to other members of the finance team as required
Other ad-hoc duties and projects as required
Essential
Qualified Accountant (ICAS, ACCA)
Experience consolidating monthly Group accounts
Experience preparing statutory Group financial statements
Good technical knowledge and working experience of accounting standards
Financial modelling experience / Advanced Excel skills
Advanced MS Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables etc).
Desirable
Exposure to US reporting and/or overseas territories would be advantageous
