Financial Reporting Manager, South Gyle

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly Group consolidated accounts

  • Consolidate quarterly Group budgets and further develop financial budget model

  • Take ownership of year-end statutory accounts process

  • Take ownership of Group ESG reporting

  • Oversee Group tax submissions (UK and US)

  • Act as the 'go to' person for all technical accounting queries

  • Add further rigour and control by implementing process improvements and internal controls

  • Draft and document all accounting policies and procedures (e.g. transfer pricing, treasury, capitalisation of costs etc.)

  • Report into the Financial Controller and provide support to other members of the finance team as required

  • Other ad-hoc duties and projects as required

Essential

  • Qualified Accountant (ICAS, ACCA)

  • Experience consolidating monthly Group accounts

  • Experience preparing statutory Group financial statements

  • Good technical knowledge and working experience of accounting standards

  • Financial modelling experience / Advanced Excel skills

  • Advanced MS Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables etc).

Desirable

  • Exposure to US reporting and/or overseas territories would be advantageous
